Opinion: Here's the Winner of the Debate
The 2024 Presidential Debate between former president Donald Trump and Kamala Harris has been one of the most polarizing and divisive debates in American history.
You will hear opinions from both sides: on the left, Kamala wins. On the right, Trump wins.
However, there is one key winner of the debate.
Kamala Harris centered her debate performance on optimism, uplifting Americans and providing a new generation of leadership in America. Donald Trump focused on the key issues, attacking incumbent Democrats while also providing his own record as a solution to our problems.
In reality, no one won the debate.
Kamala Harris was undoubtedly far from reality. She made voters believe that she will be the solution to all of the problems in America, yet she has been in office for the past 3 years and definitely had opportunities to combat and prevent issues in the economy and foreign policy.
Donald Trump did not demonstrate enough of his plan. He spend most of the debate hammering Biden/Harris instead of highlighting optimism and opportunity for Americans.
Despite how many believe of the debate, it will not have much impact on the election results. Most people have already made up their minds, and the remaining independent voters on the fence are just too few to swing the election one way or the other.
